Rise of the Robot Empire - Dead Hands on a Piano from B-Sides & Rarities

Here’s an old B-side track recorded probably on 2005 on a #Tascam 4track cassette recorder. It is called Rise of the Robot Empire and it was simply recorded with an inexpensive Yamaha DJX piano and a #Moogerfooger Ring Modulator.

First track from the album Stereo Lights, a compilation of home recordings between 2004-2009 and collates a diversity of techniques ranging from 4-track cassettes, loop recordings and improvised jams. Most of the tracks on this EP are ambient oriented and have a decadent low-fi feel to it.

#Monotribe Love. This sequencer/analogue synth is awesome. It has a fat analogue sound, a 16 step sequence/drum machine and the best of all it comes cheap price (around $200). What really convinced me on buying one was after seeing this cover of Dark Side of The Moon’s ‘On the Run’ View Larger

Video made one afternoon in Old San Juan the 1st day i got my hands on my Canon 7D. Music was mostly made by midi sounds except the wind sound at the end wich was really wind sampled and filtered through my FM4 Filter modeler.

Avant-garde music is sort of research music. You’re glad someone’s done it but you don’t necessarily want to listen to it.

Live, Ambient Music mixed with audio from the transmissions of the Apollo 11 when it landed on the moon. Recorded on 2009 (and recently found on my archives) commemorating  the 40th anniversary of this outstanding historical event.

New Setup. I’m hooking my gear through the #kaosspads and into the computer interface to record some sessions. The sound source is coming from the Korg Monotribe and audio through the Bleep Lab’s HSS3i View Larger

Experimenting with a few noisy toys. I was impressed how difficult it is to find a Kp3 demo without it being use for techno music. It is such a versatile instrument for experimentation. The video generator used is the Hss3i from bleeplabs.com
